Planning an outdoor education experience comes with a lot of moving parts — and we’re here to make it as smooth and straightforward as possible. Below are answers to the most common questions we receive from schools before and during the booking process.

Where Can We Go?
Bindaree operates programs all over Victoria and can also deliver customised trips interstate. From coastal regions and alpine peaks to bushland and rivers, we work with you to choose the right location for your group’s needs.
What Type of Activities Can We Do?
We offer a wide range of outdoor, environmental, team-building, and cultural activities. The options depend on your chosen location and the length of your program. Visit our Activities page for examples and ideas.
How Do We Organise a Program?
We take a collaborative approach. Our team will work with you to:
- Identify your goals and group needs
- Choose suitable locations and activity types
- Tailor the program to your student age group and available dates
- Manage logistics including catering, transport, staffing, and gear
Once confirmed, all details are finalised with your Program Manager.
Who Looks After Our Booking?
Every group is assigned a Program Manager once your booking is confirmed. They will:
- Be your main point of contact throughout the planning process
- Help prepare students, families, and staff
- Finalise logistics and documentation
- Join you in the field during the program to provide on-the-ground support
How Does Food Work on Programs?
We offer two options:
- Fully catered programs: Bindaree supplies all food, catering gear, and staff to prepare and serve meals. We also cater for dietary requirements and allergies in consultation with families.
- Self-catered programs: Your group brings and prepares your own meals. We supply cooking equipment as required.
What Do We Need to Bring?
We’ll provide you with a detailed packing list well ahead of time. Bindaree supplies:
- All camping and activity equipment
- Catering gear (if applicable)
- Safety equipment and risk documentation
- Rainwear
Your Program Manager will also host an information session if needed to walk through what to bring, what to expect, and how to prepare.
